We had a wonderful morning with the Family Arts Network! 🎨

They hosted their first event in our Cafe and Gallery - Coffee and Craft. Families were invited to come along for a hot drink, a treat and a craft activity.

It was a joy to see so many children - and adults - get stuck into the activities. Check out Tuneful Chatter to find out more about darts' early years' programmes: https://wearedarts.org.uk/tuneful-chatter-2/

Have you visited Periphery yet?

Open until 16 May, the exhibition currently on display in our gallery explores Charles Bonnet Syndrome, where individuals with sight loss see things that are not real.

These hallucinations are different for different people and can be patterns, such as shapes or lines, in colour or black and white, and can be moving or still.

Learn more about this condition and how it has inspired Sarah Jane Palmer's captivating artwork by visiting the exhibition. Call 01302 341662 for opening times.

Our artists have been working with teachers in schools across Doncaster on our Inspiring Leaders, Creative Learners programme, developing creative skills and practise to enhance learning in their classrooms.

We asked teachers who have been taking part in the programme to tell us what they would say to another teacher to encourage them to try out some creative activities in their lessons.

Had a glorious catch up with Ison Harrison Solicitors yesterday! ☀️☕️

Kate and Prerna came by darts' sunlit home for a chat about all the exciting ways our organisations can work together. It was great to sample the new drinks in The Point's cafe too!

There's so many great things to come with Ison Harrison x darts. Being neighbours, on both South Parade and Cavendish Court, there's many possibilities to explore when it comes to our corporate partnership.

Our organisations aren't just close in locations, but in what drives us too. We're both motivated by the work we can do for Doncaster's children, families and communities.

Thanks for stopping by! We're already looking forward to welcoming you again soon ...

There were some fantastic art works being created in our Gallery over the half term holidays! Here are some of the group in one of our holiday sessions, using acrylic sheets and paint to create colourful portraits of each other. Once their portraits were finished, they were printed onto paper as a lasting reminder of the session. We hope everyone who came along had lots of fun!

More holiday sessions for the Easter break will be coming soon - keep an eye on our website to find out more: https://bit.ly/3QaxgUj
