Once again, we’re so excited to be taking part in Norfolk Heritage Open Days, opening up Bishop Bonner’s Cottage Museum and Dereham’s Assembly Rooms. The best bit? Entry is completely ✨FREE✨ for everyone during !

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday evening for a fascinating talk by author Helen Murray, who made a very welcome return to discuss her research into Victorian artist Juliet Seebohm’s Cromer seascapes.

We had some stiff competition from the solar eclipse, but we were able to gather outside beforehand and enjoy it together! 🌙

That’s a wrap on 2026, and what a wonderful weekend it’s been! 🥹💙

Thank you to every single one of you who came along and helped make our Anglo-Saxon archaeological adventure so special. We can’t quite believe we welcomed more than 280 budding archaeologists through our doors! We loved seeing all the smiles and are incredibly grateful for the lovely messages of support we’ve since received. Thank you for being part of - please do keep sharing your photos with us! 📸

We must also say a very special thank you to our incredible museum volunteers who went above and beyond to bring the Digging Dereham activities to life for everyone. None of this would have been possible without you! 💙
