WALK THIS WAY
Malcolm Hide

Five birds. One direction.
And apparently, not a single doubt between them.

Walk This Way is Malcolm Hide’s playful observation of life on the shoreline, where rhythm, repetition and character turn an everyday coastal encounter into something rather extraordinary.

Distinctive and quietly witty, Malcolm’s work brings together the natural world and the unmistakable personality we so often see within it.

Contemporary British art with a story to tell.

Painting has always been part of my life. Like many things, every painting begins quietly with a few pencil lines and an idea slowly finding its shape.

I thought it might be nice to share some of the stages behind this one.

Meet Mr Seahorse.
A limited edition by Malcolm Hide, where elegance floats sideways and the sea gets a little more fabulous.
Intricate curls. Coral swagger. Calm confidence.
He drifts through a kelp-fringed world where fashion is fluid and flamboyance is a survival strategy.
