On the 5th and final day of the in-person training for the SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness, Jonathan Morgan took learners through the process of creating a preparedness plan and producing written recommendations. After today they will use all the knowledge and skills gained from this training to do their written assignment which requires them to complete a Counter-Terrorism (CT) Risk Assessment, a CT Preparedness Plan, and CT Written Recommendations for a specific scenario.

It has been an incredible experience watching these learners develop throughout the course and work collaboratively to ensure everyone is understanding the content.

A massive well done to Jonathan for completing his first delivery of the Level 3 with Trident Manor, and a huge congratulations to the learners of this month's cohort for completing the in-person training.

Yesterday, day 4 of the Level 3 Award in CTPSaP, learners successfully underwent the MCQ exam. Following the 100% pass rate, the cohort pushed through the penultimate day. They looked at how to complete a Counter-Terrorism Risk Assessment and Preparedness Plan, which is essential for the written assessment.

It was great to see Peter Summers from SFJ Awards visit our team and this month's cohort. The learners were given a chance to speak to Pete and give verbal feedback on the course - a beneficial discussion for both SFJ Awards and the learners.

At the beginning of day 3 of the SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in CTPSaP, Jonathan Morgan took learners through a practical approach to understanding as they assessed a site and discussed the vulnerabilities, potential , and strategies in reference to Counter-Terrorism (CT) risk assessments.

This will help them with their written assessment that will be completed over the four weeks following the completion of this week's in-person training. Today's content focuses on CT Preparedness Plans and the factors that contribute to CT Preparedness. It is encouraging to see the learners apply the information to their organisations and understand how they will implement the knowledge and skills they are learning from this course.

As well as the Level 3 CTPSaP, it is great to see members of our team with one of our longstanding international clients in Mexico, preparing to deliver our accredited Personal Safety & Security Workshop (PSSW) for over 30 members of staff.

This programme is very meaningful to us as we know from experience that it has helped to save lives and reduce risks and casualties.

We are proud to be able to support organisations in keeping their staff and customers safe across the globe, and we look forward to hearing from our team and the learners about their experience and the impact of the workshop.
