Overwhelmingly Abundant 🎨

This painting has been months in the making and has changed beyond recognition along the way. It actually began as a leopard amongst giant leaves... but sometimes a painting has other ideas. 💛

I've worked on it in little pockets of time during what has been a very emotional period of my life, and perhaps that's why finally finishing it feels particularly special.

There is an abundance of everything in this piece — colour, nature, pattern, tiny details and emotion. Each individual detail is carefully considered and quite orderly, yet together they create something almost overwhelming for the eye.

Maybe that's why Overwhelmingly Abundant feels like the right name.

Sometimes you just have to keep adding the layers and trust where they take you. 💛

I'm absolutely delighted to be exhibiting five pieces of my artwork this year at Dunkeld Cathedral Art Exhibition 🎨

Here are all five of my pieces on display available for sale. If you’re visiting the exhibition, I’d love for you to take a look – each piece has its own story and meaning, and it’s always special when they find a new home. 🖼️✨
The exhibition is held in the beautiful Duchess Anne building beside the majestic Dunkeld Cathedral, right in the heart of one of Scotland’s loveliest towns. The exhibition preview will be on Monday 28th July from 6-8pm and the Exhibition will open on Tuesday 29th at 10am. We are open every day from 10-4 and 12-4 on Sundays.
The Exhibition will close on Thursday 28th August. There’s an incredible variety of work on show this year, so why not plan a visit? Take in the art, enjoy a wander through the Cathedral grounds, and explore the local shops and walks.

A huge thank for the invitation I’m so looking forward to being part of this inspiring exhibition. 💫
