We are looking forward to our special ‘Meet the Artists’ event with the fabulous potter on Sunday 27th September He will be in the studio with Clay and tools, making hand built pots. Neil is one of the group that uses a large group kiln in the grounds of Thoresby Hall near Newark Notts. He has fabulous experiences and stories to tell of this very traditional firing method where every piece is unique. Come along and meet him and take a moment to enjoy a glass of bubbly whist enjoying his work and the fabulous collections of work in the ‘Embers’ exhibition currently showing in the gallery with work by resident artists and other guests and .ceramics

We are so looking forward the Launch of our Embers II exhibition Situated in the iconic mill yard of this UNESCO world heritage site is our contemporary art gallery and studio Neil is a ceramicist and features as one of our guest artists for this exhibition. Our Exhibition launches on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August. Join us for Prosecco and canapés.

We are delighted to introduce our new guests artists joining us for our Embers Exhibition ( part II) Laura Lee .ceramics is new to exhibitions with us and her gorgeous textured surfaces, various firing techniques and gestural mark making creat sumptuous pots that have purpose and sculptural style. Neil Hotchin is a creative potter who continues to explore the perimeters and endless possibilities of traditional wood firing that results in unique and unrepeatable glazes and finishes. We are delighted he is returning to us. Finally we have Benjamin Maney returning for the second time. He is a woodturner of the very finest quality. He uses a collection of natural and exotic woods and specialises in the detail of woods natural patterns and marks and exquisite finishing. The Exhibition will launch oh Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August. Come along and meet our guests and enjoy a glass of Prosecco and some canapés to celebrate another exciting collection. The Embers exhibition continues until 28th October and features resident artists Jenny McKenzie painter Sarah Stone, Silversmith and Jo Spencer Mosaic artists we look forward to welcoming you.
