Hot off the press! 📰

We are delighted to have received funding for a new outdoor gallery, highlighting walking routes around Cromarty to learn about the town's rich history through built heritage. Launching in August!

Visitors will be encouraged to visit several sites throughout the town that do not receive interpretation elsewhere in Cromarty.

⭐️ Oral history opportunity ⭐️

We have an exciting new project in the making... We are developing a brand new walking tour for Cromarty, taking visitors around the Fishertown to see the locations of these old photographs (from the acclaimed Willie John Smith collection) come to life.

Do you have family members or memories of Cromarty that link to these photographs? Perhaps you can talk about the work or lives of fishermen or women at the turn of the last century? If you live in Cromarty and would like to chat with us about the old ways of life, and life in Cromarty today, we'd love to hear from you.

Looking for the ideal summer job? We are on the lookout for an Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for day-to-day operations at the museum, acting as duty manager.

Hours: 12 noon - 4pm (4 hours per day)
Days: 1st June to 31st August (days by agreement)

This job is available as a job share and the working pattern can be adapted.
