We're delighted to welcome Aga Kubish an award-winning Polish-born artist and printmaker based in Pontypool, to the . She creates large-scale linocuts exploring trees, botanical structures, architecture and the relationship between human presence and complex natural systems. It seems poignant that while we are showcasing the schools response to the Hay, Brecon & Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees creative challenge for another week, Aga's large linocut is entitled 'Sanctuary' and the etching is called 'Rooted'

As an added bonus for the next two weeks the conference room is home to the creative work of local schools in response to the Hay, Brecon & Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees Creative Challenge to celebrate refugees.
