I have just read Delta Scout a book by Anthony Trethowan. Set in the South West of Rhodesia it tells his experiences in the BSAP as a young 18 year old policeman. Later when the was comes 1975 to 1980 Tony works for Ground Coverage and ultimately Special Branch countering terrorism. His story is told with humour and pathos. If you want to know more about policing at the coal face junior level read this book. Available on Kindle Amazon
