๐ฟ This World Environment Day, take a moment to connect with one of the world's oldest surviving landscapes.
As part of Unearth the Palaeoverse: Dig Into the Dawn of Time, visitors can relax and immerse themselves in a stunning film experience created by award-winning wildlife filmmaker Simon Watts.
Journey through the ancient Caledonian forest and bog woodlands of the Scottish Highlands, an 8,000-year-old survivor of the last Ice Age. Home to towering Scots pines, rare wildlife and prehistoric plant species, this remarkable environment offers a glimpse into a landscape that has endured for thousands of years.
World Environment Day is a chance to celebrate and protect the natural world around us, and this immersive experience highlights the beauty, resilience and importance of these ancient habitats.
Want to discover more? Simon will be hosting a series of Warwickshire Wildlife Talks at The Herbert from 17 June to 14 July. Tickets must be booked in advance and include free entry to the museum.
