The Glass and Art Gallery The Glass and Art Gallery gives you the chance to browse at your own leisure and admire the beautiful artwork created by over 200 local artists and creators.

The Glass and Art Gallery has been running for more than 20 years and displays work from over 200 local artists, creates and producers. Founded by Internationally renowned artist Maralyn O'Keefe, the gallery is known throughout the North East for is unique display of art, gifts and homewares. We recently expanded to open The Swordmakers' Room, a section devoted to more masculine gifts. The Stained

Glass Studio is where we design and make traditional stained glass windows for churches, public buildings and memorial windows as well as private commisions for houses. Each commission created in the studio is unique in style as they are designed to our customers' specifications and requirements. North East Stained Glass Supplies is recognised as the premier regional supplier of stained glass materials. We stock a large range of coloured glass which can be supplied and cut to size, as well as a large range of associated tools and accessories for the professionals and hobbyists working in stained and fused glass. We are more than happy to provide helpful, friendly advice on all aspects of working with stained glass and glass art.

A Christmas Decoration special at The Glass & Art Gallery.

It is hard to believe that Christmas Day is just a week away so to help you with all your festive decorating we are offering a 25% off all our Christmas decorations (except ones made by our artists).

This offer will start tomorrow, Wednesday 18th December 2024!

We will be open every day now until 4 pm on Christmas Eve. Our normal hours are 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

LAST FUSED GLASS COURSE PLACES MAKING YOUR OWN
CHRISTMAS DECORATION 2024

My Christmas fused glass workshops have been very successful, and everyone on them has made two fabulous, unique Christmas trees.

My last course weekend this year is coming up soon. I have just a few places left on the courses I'm running on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December, in the mornings and afternoons. If you are interested in coming on one of the workshops please either message me or phone the gallery on 01207 583353 to check availability. And if you are interested, contact me soon as there are literally just a few places left!

A course costs £45 and you will make 2 fused glass Christmas trees, one to hang and one in a wooden plinth.
The courses start at 9.30am and 2pm, lasting about two hours and are held in my studio above the gallery.
