The centre is full of activity as we prepare to open our brand new exhibition to the public on Monday 25th. Join us to view the work from nine artists from across the region responding to our Heart Horror Open Call.

The Gruesome Gallery opens at 2pm on Monday 26th October and is to come in and browse...

There'll be a fantastic raffle, a fundraising karaoke evening and an end of show open mic party evening with all proceeds going to our Buy the Building fundraiser.

There will also be some creative activities for you and the kids next as we invite you to add to the displays

This Saturday come along and join us in our theatre space for our monthly Cabaret, Open Mic and Karaoke Night.

To celebrate National Poetry Day (which is on Friday) we would love to hear your spoken word contributions on our stage on Saturday, whether that be your original work or sharing a favourite poem.

It's a great evening which is and so join us for a warm, friendly and inclusive night out.

Don’t forget that this week we have the amazing one woman theatre show “Anne Boleyn’s Mother” from Gleowit Productions starring and written by the fantastic Heather Leech.

This week at Consett Heart - Heritage and Arts Centre!

Today it's our regular Arts and Crafts Sessions from 1pm-3pm & 6.30pm-8.30pm -

On Friday 11th September we have our friends from the Consett & District Heritage Initiative & History of Consett Steelworks group who are visiting with their Consett Memory Cafe and Exhibition in our downstairs gallery from 12pm-3pm - entry. Watch out for our further post with a full week of exhibitions starting from Friday.

Also on Friday 11th at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm) we have the magnificent one woman play Anne Boleyn's Mother written by and starring the amazing Heather Leech from Gleowit Productions in our upstairs theatre space. Tickets start at £10 and are available online or at the door (cash or card welcome).

Amazing live performances at Consett Heart - Heritage and Arts Centre in September upstairs in our theatre space.

Saturday 5th September is our monthly Open Mic, Cabaret & Karaoke evening. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. It's and . Just turn up on the night and have fun either on the stage or as an enthusiastic and supportive audience member.
