Admiral Ramsay Museum is now open for the season, and the garden, so do please come and bring friends over the summer (it is open until 30th September). Please bring children… it is their generation who should learn of the sacrifices of so many people in WW2 for our freedom. We welcome school trips, so please encourage head teachers and history teachers you know; they can email [email protected]. It is open 9am to 4.30pm seven days a week. There are two picnic tables close to the Museum and plenty of benches to listen to the birdsong or read a book. The garden is at its best in June!

I, WIll Ramsay, will be walking the D-Day beaches before dawn on 6th June (82nd Anniversary) with Monty’s grandson, Henry Montgomery, recording a podcast as we walk.. the grandsons of the Naval and Army leaders considering . He is raising funds for the British Normandy Memorial ; I bought the sculpture below for Admiral Ramsay Museum to support his venture and to help to publicise such a brilliant addition to the memory of all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in Normandy in 1944. Do you have any stories of your relations' duty on D-Day? If so, please let me know (perhaps you can post them here?) and I will re-tell them.
