Friendly independent gallery in Cobham exhibiting a varied collection of artwork. The Art Agency started as a pop up gallery in January 2010.

THis proved to be such a success that we opened a small gallery on Esher High Street in October 2011. We now represent over 30 contemporary artists and showcase their work in exhibitions that change every 6 weeks.

Love the art? Meet the artists.
While we're at the Affordable Art Fair Battersea this weekend, Russell Hatton and Kirsty Mackay will be holding the fort for us, at The Art Agency in Cobham on Saturday and Sunday.
Husband and wife, are both abstract artists; Russell and Kirsty work with different types of automotive paint to achieve very different finishes. Their daughter Megan is also an abstract artist, and her work is on show in the gallery too.
Although each has their own distinctive style, their work can sit beautifully together. Some of our clients have chosen paintings by two, or even all three, to live alongside one another in their homes.
It's a lovely opportunity to meet the artists, find out a bit more about their work and inspiration behind the artwork.
Pop in, have a chat and enjoy coffee or a glass of something from the fridge!

We’ve been packing Paul Treasure’s exciting new collection ready for Battersea this week, and we can’t wait to see these paintings on the stand for the first time.
Think bold colour, wonderful texture and rich, golden autumnal palettes — artwork that brings warmth, depth and character to a room.

Three artists. One family. Brand-new work unveiled for the first time.

Join us on Thursday 8 October for the opening night of Relative Abstraction, a special exhibition bringing together the work of Russell Hatton, Kirsty Mackay and Megan Hatton.

Alongside the new work already arriving in the gallery, we're keeping a number of pieces back to be revealed for the very first time on opening night, making this the best opportunity to see the exhibition in full.

All three artists will be joining us in the gallery throughout the evening and we'd love you to come along for a glass of w**e, meet the artists and enjoy a first look at the collection.

You may also have spotted Russell's work recently on BBC2's The Big Deal with Steph McGovern. We're delighted that Claire Goodchild and Aaron Morgans, who selected Russell's artwork on the programme, will also be joining us as special guests on the night.

We are super excited to introduce to the UK at the Battersea autumn edition 14-18 October.
We will be showing pieces from her Feathered Fables series.
In these intriguing pieces Kaat uses a blend of patience and craftsmanship. She spends many hours photographing birds in their natural habitat before including them in her hand built sets back in her studio. These sets serve as a stage for her birds, creating theatrical performances.
She invites us to see our own world through these small, enchanted tales.
This piece is called ‘Brilliance with Cord’ 6/16 32cm x 32cm framed £1200
The collection will be in the gallery ahead of the fair so if you are local to us do pop in for first look…..

One of the most rewarding parts of helping clients choose art is seeing how a collection of pieces can work together to create a feeling within a space.
Our new sculpture, Gathering Stardust by Jeremy Moulsdale, is a beautiful example. This elegant figurative bronze resin sculpture brings height, interest and presence, making it equally at home in a garden setting or within the home.

We were delighted to see Hendrikka Waage featured in Miami Art Scene.
From Icelandic jewellery designer to London-based painter, artistic journey reflects a rich tapestry of creative evolution. Today she is best known for her captivating "Wonderful Beings" series – striking portraits of women with a single ear, exploring the idea of selective listening in our information-saturated world.
As Hendrikka explains, the motif is open to interpretation, but one reading is that we don't have to listen to every voice around us. Her portraits celebrate women who forge their own path rather than following conventional wisdom.
Inspired by the many countries she has called home, including Iceland, Japan, Russia, the USA and the UK, Hendrikka's work combines rich colour, character and storytelling in a way that continues to resonate with collectors around the world.
We currently have a collection of Hendrikka's work available to view at the gallery.
