Most of my friends ( of a certain age.! ) will appreciate how times have changed due to social media
Traditionally, life was viewed as a linear timeline: school, career, marriage, kids, retirement, old age.

Social media exposes us to thousands of alternative timelines.

Growing old gracefully used to mean embracing silver hair, quiet wisdom, and a slower pace of life. Today, that definition has been completely rewritten

In the past you knew what a 50-year-old or 70-year-old "looked like" based on the people in your town or on television. ( remember "golden girls :? THEY WERE IN THE 40S AND 50S 😲 )
We now see people starting new businesses at 65, picking up weightlifting at 70, or finding new love at 80, 60-year-old fitness influencers with six-packs and 70-year-old fashion icons dressing in streetwear.
Proving that life doesn't shrink as you get older; it can actually expand.
While inspiring, it also creates a hyper-unrealistic standard. "Aging gracefully" can sometimes feel like it has been replaced by "not aging at all," skewing our collective internal clock of what a natural body and face look like at various stages of our life.. Step up botox and injections

Social media has broken down the walls. But We ultimately grow into exactly who we were always meant to be.
Our core stays steady.
Listening to ourselves isn't about a sudden
dramatic revelation; it is more like tuning an old radio. For decades, the signal is crowded with static—the expectations of others, the demands of work, the noise of trying to build a life, and the roles we are forced to play.
Truly listening requires us to step back from that static.
It means paying attention to the quiet. When we finally learn to listen, we stop asking "What should I be doing?" and start asking "What feels authentic to who I am right now?"
We care less about keeping up appearances and more about keeping our peace. We grow comfortable in our own skin, wrinkles, history, and all. We stop trying to fix every perceived flaw and start appreciating the resilience that got us this far.

We invest our energy into the things that bring genuine fulfillment—be it a lifelong craft, the quiet beauty of nature, or the tight-knit circle of people who have weathered the storms with us.

WE ARE WHO WE WERE MEANT TO.BE ALL ALONG ❤️
