Cinderford RFC
1955 was an important year in the club's history. It was when the club purchased the Dockham Road ground. They had played there prior to WW2 when it was known as "The Rec". After the war they reformed as Cinderford White Rose and played their games mainly at the Cinderford Bridge ground with their headquarters being at the White Hart hotel.
Below are a series of newspaper cuttings that follow the purchase.

The shop and house where the demolition gang has been at work belonged to the late Mr. F. C. Wilkins, the well known confectioner, and his family.
