Come and be amazed at the number of influential figures, born and raised in Lancashire, some of whom survived, some who tragically perished – Such as Wallace Henry Hartley, violinist and band leader on the Titanic who famously lead his band as the ship sank into the icy depths of the Atlantic, who was born, and is buried, here in Colne: his memorial stands further down the street. Test your children’s, (and you own!) knowledge with our Titanic quiz. As we receive no public funding, there is a small entrance fee. Price: £2 adults, £1 children
