The Arc Gallery Announcement - from 12 March we will be OPEN ONLINE ONLY. For almost 30 years The Arc Gallery has been a labour of love. However, set against a backdrop of two years of difficult trading conditions combined with increasing overheads, I have taken the difficult decision to close the gallery in Chester. I have now reached a point where I am keen to achieve a better work life balance and make time for more personal projects and opportunities. I will continue to sell the best of British craft & design online through The Arc Gallery website. - link in bio. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far, the 100’s of makers, designers, artists and craftspeople who have contributed to our success over the years. Thank you also to my very supportive landlord Phoebe Wainwright who first founded the gallery in 1994. Also to our amazing staff, especially to Barbara, Briony, Ali and Karin, who many customers will remember fondly. Finally, and most importantly to our wonderful customers themselves who over the years have not only supported this small business but indirectly a whole array of other independent craft and design business - a massive round of applause to you all .
