We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Picture Framing Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a busy framing workshop where you'll help create high-quality bespoke picture frames and provide excellent customer service.
Whether you have previous framing experience or are keen to learn a skilled craft, we'd love to hear from you.
Picture Framing Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Hours: [Full-time / Part-time]
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Must be able to drive to location
What You'll Be Doing
• Assisting with the production of bespoke picture frames.
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing frames.
• Mount cutting and glass preparation.
• Handling artwork with care and attention.
• Supporting customers with framing enquiries and order collection.
• Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe.
• Assisting with stock management and deliveries when required.
• Website maintaining
What We're Looking For
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good practical and manual skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous framing, woodworking, retail, or workshop experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training can be provided.
