It’s National Volunteers’ Week, and what better place to start than by saying:

✨✨ A HUGE THANK YOU to the fantastic reenactors and everyone else involved who volunteers their time, enthusiasm, and expertise at our annual Military Festival Weekend!! ✨✨

🙌🏻 Their dedication to bringing history to life, sharing their knowledge with visitors, and creating an immersive experience for all ages is a huge part of what makes the festival such a success year after year.

We are incredibly grateful for the commitment, passion, hard work and fun they bring to the event. Thank you to all of our wonderful reenactors, stallholders, and everyone involved with the festival in any way – we couldn’t do it without you!

🏰 Our castle builders have been keeping us busy today upstairs in the Kids Zone 🏰

We’ve had lots of young visitors getting creative and building their very own castles. Just look at this fantastic lineup waiting to dry – each one unique and full of imagination!
