Discover the Art of Long‑Stitch Bookbinding 📚

Ready to roll up your sleeves and create something truly beautiful? Join us for an exciting, hands-on Long-Stitch Bookbinding Workshop with Heather Page, where tradition meets creativity in the most satisfying way!

Learn a timeless craft in a fun, relaxed setting and create your very own handmade notebook or journal. Experiment with beautiful, visible stitching designs and take home a skill you can use again and again. Whether you’re a total beginner or a crafty creator, this workshop is the perfect way to unplug, get creative, and leave with something truly personal.

The workshop takes place in the City Hall Studio and runs 10am – 1pm Saturday 19 September. Spaces are limited, please book in advanced. Tickets include materials and are £30.00 for Adults or £27.00 for Tullie Friends.

Why not come down to Tullie for Tullie Lates! The Carlisle Gallery & temporary exhibitions will be open. Treat yourself to something from the shop or enjoy some refreshments in Café Tullie.

Plus, we have a special activity happening, This month’s activity is Automata Workshop, inspired by the eerie grandeur and decaying magic of the fantastic Gormenghast Castle automata.
