I am pleased to announce that I have published my first book!! Written and illustrated by myself. I am so please with how it has turned out 😁

I didn't know the first clue on how to start making my own book, but after teaching myself I am very happy with what I have learnt and published.

Available to buy on Amazon Kdp to download and buy a hard copy. This would make a great stocking filler. It has been tried and tested on my children who absolutely loved it.

5 down 1 to go!!! Fisher Division holds the Naval crest of HMS Dreadnought. Painted Using winsor and Newton cotman watercolour set on A4 daler-Rowney aqua paper 300gsm.

HMS Dreadnought was a Royal Navy battleship whose design revolutionised naval power. The ship's entry into service in 1906 represented such an advance in naval technology that her name came to be associated with an entire generation of battleships, the "dreadnoughts", as well as the class of ships named after her.

Next up Nelson Divisions.... Which are passing out today.

Named after Lord Horatio Nelson. The crest was created for two battleships built for the Royal Navy in the 1920s.

They were the first battleships built to meet the limitations of the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

Entering service in 1927, the ship spent her peacetime career with the  Atlantic  and Home Fleets, usually as the fleet flagship. During the early stages of World War II, she searched for German commerce raiders.

You may notice the crest says "Thrasher"

HMS Thrasher (N37) was a T-Class submarine of the Royal Navy. She was launched in November 1940, and had an active career in the Mediterranean and Pacific Far East.

HMS Thrasher represents Gould Division and the phase 1 trainees who sleeps within its block while conducting basic training.

I have started to paint all the Divisions Crest on-board HMS Raleigh. These Divisions have been housing Phase 1 recruits since the 50's and 60's.

I wanted to paint something for personal who are passing out OR have passed out and can remember their time with in their blocks while in training.

Other Crests are being sketched up and being made ready to paint.

Always learning new things, when painting. So many different textures painting long and short hair animals.

Not had much time to paint these days because of a new job position. 👎

However managed to fit this fella into my schedule.

Had fun painting a compass Jellyfish in a bright colours in my own style. Using winsor and Newton cotman watercolour set.

Did you know Jellyfish Are 98% Water, have no brain or a heart!!🤯

DID YOU KNOW... A Female Octopus usually lay 200,000 to 400,000 eggs, though it varies depending on species.

Built in 1940 HMS Raleigh is the basic training facility of the at Torpoint, Cornwall United Kingdom.

HMS Lancaster was treated to a stunning natural light show as she carried out a two-week solo patrol of the Arctic.✨

The Portsmouth-based frigate was enveloped by the Northern Lights on her second venture into the High North in 2021.

This year has been amazing but hard work. Here are a few paintings I have enjoyed working on over the past year. 🍻
