13 years ago today I opened the door to Pocock’s The Artmonger! The gallery has evolved over the years and now stocks art materials along side paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass and handmade jewellery and am delighted to be part of HortiCo Nursery & Garden Emporium at Drove Orchards in Thornham!

Taking place between May 25th - June 2nd 2024, artists and makers are invited to open up their studios and workplaces to the public to showcase and sell their work.

North Norfolk Open Studios is a fantastic event created to promote the wide-ranging ability and talent residing in this part of the country.
Artist disciplines range from painting, mixed media and ceramics to sculpture, metalwork and wood carving, so don't hesitate to apply if you're an artist or maker in North Norfolk.

Applications close at midnight on the 20th January 2024.

Just popping up to say hi to everyone on this cold and frosty morning!
Definitely one for the thermal’s!

The painting I’m holding is called ’Evening Marshes’ 47x47cm and reminds me of summer evenings out sketching on the North Norfolk coast.

The blue and Sand colours in the larger one is called ‘Air & Atmosphere’ 94x94 framed.

The third one is called ‘Blakeney church - Morston’ 47x47cm

Laura’s gallery is filled with an eclectic array of traditional and contemporary paintings and it’s a perfect place to buy a special handcrafted gift for someone this Christmas. Laura also stocks a selection of art materials and sketching supplies - so always worth popping in to see what’s new.

It’s today! The gallery is bedecked with colourful ribbons in support of this long standing village event! The rain has passed and it looks to be a bright and sunny afternoon for The Burnhams Flower Show and Carnival 🎡 🎪🥁🎺Cheer the Parade as it passes through the village to the Playing Field (Station Road) where the rest of the events take place throughout the day.
