Beckie Reed
Woven in Light
Acrylic an enamel on canvas

The overall mood of this beautiful painting is peaceful and slightly dreamlike. The mist in the distance softens the edges and adds a sense of mystery, as though the path continues into an unseen, quiet world.

Now available to view and purchase. Visit the gallery to view this and other works by Beckie.

The title “Screen Time” adds meaning to the visual: the glowing windows resemble televisions or device screens, hinting at isolation and disconnection.

Even though the buildings are physically close, they feel emotionally distant, as if each occupant is sealed inside their own digital world.

The overall effect is quiet, eerie, and reflective, pointing to modern life’s loneliness despite constant connectivity.
