A few years ago I started replacing items I use on a daily basis with items that I either know who the maker is, by making them myself or more sustainable life time lasting items from companies I have a personal connection to. I’m on the lookout for some forged cutlery next! I will be heading to the Oak Fair tomorrow to see what delights are on offer, let me know if you are going and let me know what your favourite item you have from a maker!

Stumbled upon this beauty today! The ancient yew tree in the churchyard of St Mary and St Gabriel Church in Stoke Gabriel, Devon, is estimated to be between 1,200 and 1,400 years old. It is celebrated as one of the oldest living trees in Britain, predating the recorded Domesday survey of 1086. Local folklore states that if you walk backward around the main trunk seven times without stumbling, one true wish will be granted to you. Dylan tried it so time will tell 😂
