Set in a stunning rural location, Avoncroft has over 30 exhibits including domestic, commercial, ecclesiastical and agricultural buildings which have been rescued, restored and reconstructed on our site. Avoncroft is a six-times winner of the prestigious Sandford Award for quality and excellence in educational services and we welcome visits from schools, groups and societies. We have also received

a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2024, putting Avoncroft in the top 10% of visitor attractions reviewed. Our beautiful buildings and atmospheric grounds are much in demand as a wedding venue (we also offer vintage weddings) and as locations for filming and photography. The site is also home to the UK's National Telephone Kiosk Collection (including a rare blue police phone box) and a miniature railway. 🎻 An Evening of Classical Music at Avoncroft Museum 🎺

Join us on Saturday 20 June 2026 for a wonderful summer evening with The Beauchamp Chamber Orchestra in the beautiful historic setting of Guesten Hall at Avoncroft Museum.

Enjoy a programme featuring Vaughan Williams' much-loved Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, alongside works by Ireland, Britten and others, with special guest soloist Sophie Hughes (Trumpet).

Founded in 2024, the Beauchamp Chamber Orchestra brings together experienced musicians to perform great music in unique venues while supporting local causes. We are delighted that all funds raised from this concert will go directly to support Avoncroft Museum.

We have had many enquiries as to what plants we have at our plant sale this weekend. The varieties are too numerous to list but will include

🍎veg plants (tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, pumpkins, squash, chillies, peppers, and beans)

🌿 Herb plants (mints chocolate, spearmint, garden mint) parsley, marjoram.

🍁 Herbaceous perennials including verbena, nepeta, delphiniums, lupin

🪷 Bedding plants including cosmos varieties, cleome and calendula.

Plants are just £1.25 each or 15 plants £15

The sale is Sat 6th and Sun 7th • 9am to 4pm

🧶 Introduction to Felt Bowl Making with Penny Dixon

Curious about feltmaking? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of wet felting using unspun wool.

You'll learn how to:
✨ Identify and work with different fibres
✨ Lay out wool to create your own unique design
✨ Use traditional wet-felting techniques to bond fibres into durable felt

By the end of the session, you'll take home your own handmade felted creation, which can be used as a decorative piece or adapted into jewellery, keyrings, and other small crafts.

Led by Penny Dixon, an experienced feltmaker and trained teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience. Penny is a member of the International Feltmakers Association and the Heritage Crafts Association.

Perfect for complete beginners—come along and discover the joy of creating with wool! 🐑✨

Avoncroft Museum Bromsgrove will be hosting a car park sale on Sat 6 & Sun 7 June featuring a wide range of plants grown by volunteers, including veg and herbs, as well as herbaceous and bedding plants. It's a fantastic opportunity to pick up high quality plants with all proceeds supporting this unique Museum. All plants are priced at just £1.25 each or 15 for £15

The shop and tearooms will be also open although if you wish to go around the museum, normal admission charges apply.
