We’ve been busy having a bit of a sort out at the pottery over the last few months and have lots of seconds that we’re keen to find new homes for!

For this reason we’ve decided to host an End of Summer Sale on the lst Sunday of September, where we will be opening up the pottery for anyone who would like to come along.

As well as plenty of reduced seconds, it’ll be a chance to have a look around the pottery, meet some of our throwers and see how some of our pots are made, with a cup of tea or coffee in hand.

We’ll also be opening the doors to our new makers and workshop space at , for anyone curious to have a look around and see what we’ve been getting up to there.

It’s not something we do very often (if ever!), so whether you’ve always been curious to see behind the scenes of a working pottery, would like to learn a little more about the art of throwing, or simply fancy rummaging through our seconds in search of a pot or two, we’d love you to come by.

Come for a browse, stay for a cup of tea and a chat -- we hope to see you there!

As we come to the end of our time at the RHS Badminton Flower Show, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the incredible team behind Willow Pottery.

People often see the finished stand and the pots on display, but there’s so much that happens behind the scenes to make it all possible. Months of planning, making hundreds of pots, loading vans, building the stand, watering plants, demonstrating on the wheel and chatting to visitors... it really was a true team effort from start to finish.

A special thank you to Sarah, Jen, Jess, Kay and Tim, our brilliant potters. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with so many people and for giving visitors a real insight into what we do. It was wonderful to see so many people inspired by your demonstrations.

Steven, thank you for preparing all the succulents and for everything you did behind the scenes, especially during some difficult times. Your support really meant a lot.

And to Mimi and Kim, thank you for everything from the planning stages to the fit-up, for your amazing attention to detail and for always being willing to jump in wherever you were needed. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

I’m incredibly lucky to work alongside such a talented, hardworking and genuinely lovely group of people. You all represented Willow Pottery so beautifully, and I’m so proud of what we achieved together.

Thank you all for helping make RHS Badminton such a special week ❤️

Well after a truly wonderful week, the RHS Badminton Flower Show has finally come to a close.

We feel incredibly lucky to have been invited to be part of such a special event; one that not only celebrates the extraordinary creativity, passion and innovation within garden design and horticulture, but that also recognises the true importance of traditional artisan crafts and the people who keep them alive.

To have the opportunity to share Willow Pottery with so many visitors, alongside so many talented designers, makers and growers, has been a huge privilege.

For this we want to say a special thank you to Anna and Clare from the RHS for all your help in getting us involved, and to Dave from Malvern Gardens buildings for supplying us with the pottery studio of our dreams!

And to everyone who visited the space, your enthusiasm and support made the week truly unforgettable. We're leaving feeling incredibly grateful and inspired.

In honour of our involvement in this years RHS Badminton Flower Show, we are hosting our first ever competition! Three lucky winners will be selected: 

First place: one of our large strawberry pots 

Second place: a free voucher for a pottery wheel throwing taster sessions at our new makers space*

Third place: a brand new frilly pot for you to take home

What a great start we've had to the first ever RHS Badminton show. We were so pleased to have been asked to showcase our work, and demonstrate to people the art of how we make our traditional terracotta flower pots from start to finish.

If you're visiting you'll find us at the Artisan Studio's 📍 we'll be giving demonstrations all weekend long and you can come and meet some of our fabulous team.

Had a lovely visit over to Derry Watkins last week, delivering our pots ahead of the RHS Badminton Flower Show that starts next week. Derry is in charge of working her plant magic and potting up our pots, that will be displayed at the front of our Artisan hut stand.
