I am inspired by light, water and colour which is reflected in my work. I mainly paint with acrylics sometimes introducing other media such as pastel.

I've been in the studio again this afternoon working on this painting which is almost finished now. Just the mountains and town to finish. You can see how I have built the painting up working on the sky first, followed by the palm trees.

A quick update, I worked on the sea today using Cadmium Orange to complement the blue. It feels as though it's beginning to come together.

Working outside today on the palm trees in the sunshine. I just need to add the complementary colour to the green to build them up. It feels like summer!!
