🎄 CALLING LOCAL MAKERS! 🎄

Christmas is coming to Pretty Neat Gallery & Studio in Brighton Marina, and we’re looking for talented local makers to join us!

Our festive displays start in early November, including the Artists Open Houses Winter Festival (28 Nov–13 Dec).

We’re especially looking for:

💍 Jewellery – with plenty of pieces under £50
🧣 Accessories & wearables – scarves, gloves, purses, cosmetic bags and more
🍫 Sweet treats – handmade chocolates and confectionery
🧴 Bath & body – soaps, hand creams, lip balms
🎁 Something different? We’d love to see it!

We’re welcoming makers from within 25 miles of Brighton. Christmas-only is absolutely fine, with the possibility of staying longer!

🌊 There’s still time to be part of Beside the Sea 2026.

Putting together this exhibition is one of my favourite parts of the year. Every application brings a new perspective, and it’s always exciting to see how differently artists and makers interpret the coast, the sea and life within it.

Whether your inspiration comes from dramatic seascapes, marine life, harbours, beach finds, coastal plants or memories of time spent by the sea, we’d love to see your work.

Applications close Tuesday 7 July.

Beside the Sea celebrates creative responses to the coast, the sea and life within it. Whether your inspiration comes from coastal landscapes, marine life, harbours, seaside memories, wildlife, beach finds or life beneath the waves, we’d love to see your interpretation.
