Our monthly Relaxed Session is taking place this Sunday (30 August), offering a calmer, more comfortable way to experience the museum, ideal for visitors who prefer to explore without the usual levels of noise and activity. ✨

Expect reduced sound levels, more consistent lighting, clearly marked quiet areas, a sensory chill out space in Wonderlab studio and staff on hand to support your visit. Sensory backpacks and ear defenders will also be available to borrow.

You can enjoy the galleries at your own pace or take a break in one of our quiet spaces whenever you need to. The café and cinema remain open, with our autism‑friendly Kid’s Club screening of The Pout-Pout Fish at 11.00 in 🎟️

🔗 If you've not visited us before or would like to refamiliarise yourself with the museum, head to the accessibility section of our website to view our social story to help plan your visit.
