Come along and see life through the eyes of an Anglo-Saxon as we bring history to life! It’s FREE and open to everyone!

Please join us for a special free lecture delivered by our own Liam and Charlotte who will be discussing the hobby of re-enactment with a chance to see historically accurate clothing and objects, giving a real insight into life in the 7th Century AD!

The talk will cover the general history of the conversion period, as well as the experiences re-enactment offers and the process of creating impressions through understanding historical and archaeological sources.

With over 10 years of collective experience as Re-enactors, Liam and Charlotte have developed and refined their re-enactment through research to produce accurate displays of life in 7th century Northumbria.
