A little (2cm) sub-fossil found by the Curator while digging in the museum's veg patch last week! It's an Edible Periwinkle, which can be found on rocky shores all around our coast.

Thanks to Simon from the Essex Field Club for the identification!

Did you know the 18th-22nd May is Dementia Action Week?

We're taking action! We're pleased to say that the curator and the volunteers will be receiving Dementia Friend training in June 🩵

On Friday 22nd (10am-1pm) there will be an open morning at the Chantry Centre where you can find out about local support and information for people living with dementia and their families. Pop along if you have any questions.
