🖼️Exhibitions Paxton House, an elegant Georgian House, with a Regency extension, furnished by Thomas Chippendale and William Trotter, set in the beautiful Scottish Borders. A fantastic day out for all the family with 80 acres of grounds, gardens,

woodland and riverside, Highland Cattle, salmon netting on the River Tweed, Adventure Playground, Stables Tea Room serving home-made savoury and sweet treats to sit in or take away, house tours and special kids activities and seasonal trails. Designed by John Adam the house is one of the finest neo-Palladian mansions in the country with a recognised collection of Chippendale furniture, specially commissioned for the house. We are a Partner Gallery of the National Galleries of Scotland with a custom built Picture Gallery full of artworks on loan from the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
