KIRSTIE COHEN Seven New Paintings 5 June - 4 July
Kirstie Cohen's landscapes are at first geographical. Looking at them we see sky, cloud and ocean, laid down with Cohen’s rare and rich layers of oil paint, but they are also psychological. Kirstie Cohen uses paint to express an internal monologue; of light, colour and change – which takes her paintings deeper into the never still world of landscape and our own changing darknesses and lights.

NORMAN SHAW Timeless 5 June - 4 July New Paintings By Norman Shaw
Norman Shaw’s work is intentionally hyper-romantic - a twenty-first century Caspar Friedrich - and like Friedrich, Turner and Constable who lived in a time of increasing industrialisation, Shaw looks to divine creation in search of what is timeless and uses it as a way to see through the artifice of civilization. Shaw’s work also draws from surrealism, psychedelia and music in his quest to see a truer world.

TANSY LEE MOIR Ancient Alders 5 June - 4 July
These nine new works by Tansy Lee Moir are inspired by visits to ancient alder trees in Dumfries and Galloway and Aberdeenshire. Alders are associated with boggy places, other worlds, and what Tansy thinks of as 'thin places.' They also continue the artist's long-time experimentation with charcoal, the woodiest of artists’ medium.

BECS BOYD Turtle Dove 5 June- 4 July
This collection of ten works by Becs Boyd are inspired by a long distance walk in Romania and Moldova during 2025, and the frescos, wildlife and people encountered enroute - especially the turtle dove that migrates borderlessly from Ukraine south to the Sahel.
Boyd’s work has always used icon-like symbols - a bird or seal, a shell, a memory - but in previous bodies of work inspiration has been from Norway and the far north. With Turtle Dove, inspiration is from frescos and a very different, very current, history. This seems natural to Boyd, and the weaving together of her icons is not dark, but notices the beautiful, the dreamlike and the song of the turtle dove.

CHRISTOPHER WOOD Seven New Paintings 5 June -4 July
Christopher Wood’s work has been at the forefront of British abstract landscape painting since leaving Edinburgh College of Art in the late 1980s. His work is rooted in the experiences of living on the North Sea coast and comes from this deep connection to place and from feelings that rise when the world is explored through paint.
