Today, the 31st May 2024, is 10 years to the day since Eye Like Gallery first opened its colourful doors! It seems unbelievable that a whole decade has gone by... in a flash. And it's certainly been a rollercoaster of a ride!
Although we are celebrating that we've reached our 10-year milestone, there is a hint of sadness too. Our gallery lease is soon coming up for renewal, and after much soul searching we have decided that the time is right to move onto new and exciting things; so we have made the decision to close the gallery doors later this year.
But it is certainly not all gloom and doom! This new chapter in our lives gives us the amazing opportunity of exploring new and exciting ventures, whatever they may be!
We will of course miss working with all of our amazing artists, our loyal clients and incredible suppliers. We have loved chatting to everyone in the gallery; meeting new faces at events and shows; speaking over the phone and via email with our long distance artists and customers; and sharing with you the fabulous art that has graced our (sliding) walls over the past 10 years!
Don't worry though, we're not disappearing quite yet! For now, it's full steam ahead, with trading as normal during the summer, and we really appreciate your continued support. But if you need something framed or something new for your walls then now is the time, as there'll be great offers available on everything in stock!
