🎨✨ A glimpse into the artistry of Pablo Picasso.

Tête de Femme (1905) captures a quiet, contemplative moment, showcasing Picasso's extraordinary skill as a printmaker long before he became one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

This remarkable work is just one of the highlights in Beyond Impressionism: Printmaking from Manet to Picasso, our new exhibition exploring the evolution of printmaking through the eyes of some of Europe's most celebrated artists.

Discover works by Manet, Bonnard, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso and more, and explore how artists pushed the boundaries of this versatile medium from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.

For this year’s Volunteer week we would like to celebrate two very brave Holburne Volunteers who will be jumping out of a plane from 15,000 feet to raise vital funds for the Holburne.

Colette shares: “The Holburne is a vital community resource that enriches our lives through art and education. Every pound raised will go directly towards the 'Pathways to Wellbeing' project, educational programmes, and essential restoration efforts.”

Known for his striking, thought-provoking paintings that reimagine art historical masterpieces through vibrant colour, illusion and distortion, Brown has become one of the most influential artists of his generation. Returning to Bath nearly 40 years after studying here, this exhibition marks a unique homecoming.

Holburne Up Late: Mindful May is tomorrow 29 May, 5–9pm.
Move gently, draw expressively, breathe deeply, explore scent, or simply wander the galleries at your own pace.

Fresh from Shindig Festival and in the build up to Bath Carnival DJ stubacana will be live in the garden alongside POLYMATHIC who will be activating the cafe space with live immersive visuals and lighting, exploring how immersive technology, so often used to heighten and energise, can instead be used to create a space to unwind.
Drop in, settle into the music and let the visuals wash over you as you relax, breathe, and be present.

Plus: • FREE gallery entry • Tai Chi (6pm) • Scent blending workshop (7.30pm, £20) • Mindful life drawing (7pm, £15)
