Looking at the Raiders of the Lost Ark poster in the I Grew Up 80s exhibition I
think we should note: Saturday 13 July Happy 77th Birthday Harrison Ford . He was quite busy in the 1980s
Empire Strikes Back, the aforementioned Raiders, Blade Runner, Return of The Jedi. Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom, Witness, Working Girl & Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade! Think you can guess who the Manager's favourite actor is!

Colours of Rocks
Now open in the Basingstoke Gallery this exquisite exhibition by Junko O'Neil.
This exhibition will feature a collection of small abstract paintings created by the local artist Junko O’Neill, using Japanese traditional paints made from natural mineral pigments.

Unlike oil paints which can be applied thickly, the colours created by these paints need to be built up gradually layer upon layer. While O’Neill’s ongoing interest in expressing the Japanese aesthetics of space and time is visible on the surface of each restricted sized work, her main focus for this show is to introduce these beautiful pigments to visitors: natural rock colours that shimmer with life when the light hits them.
