A Celebration of the Life and Work of Bernard Barnes Tuesday 28th July 2:30-5pm
Thank you to all of Bernard’s many friends who have shared their condolences and memories of him on the various platforms. There’s not going to be a funeral, respecting Bernard’s wishes. His body has been cremated and his ashes will be buried in a local cemetery with only family present.
Instead, please join us at St John’s Hall Gallery on Tuesday 28th July 2:30-5:00pm for a celebration of the life and work of Bernard Barnes. In the spirit of the past activities at the gallery, as a centre for the creative mind, there will be an exhibition of Bernard’s art, old and more recent, plus a few words about him, some music and poetry reading during the afternoon. Please call in when you can. Any musicians who would like to play, please bring your instrument. An informal music session will carry on from 6pm.
