Buckethead says: I'm ready!

'Democrazy' a word coined by the Nigerian singer musician and activist Fela Kuti.This year our 'coconut shy' Green Futures Field was called the Democrazy Shy, it was very popular and for some it was used for stress relief. Jack Jones a singer with the Welsh band Trampolene (who we watched at Left field) had a few seconds of the shy in a promo video for one of his songs. Not sure if they realised they were surrounded by seats and structures made from trampolines.

Another busy day , over to near Dwyran to pick up an old lift , found on fb marketplace , free to pickup , previously used as a wood store . Will now be re purposed to make our second tree bog on the land

Been a busy week , picked up a few more riches . A liberated barbi , that has potential to become an animal thing ! Restored a gas Tilley stove for the VW , picked up on eBay for about £18 , and finally a most useful box of hinges , also from eBay .£8.86 , that I have masses of uses for . From doors and cupboards to folding signes that we use at Glastonbury

Creative has not posted for a while but we have been busy. Several projects on the go, pictures in order. New floor in Transporter created from reused flooring boards. Portable mini Barbecue made from half a gas bottle, effective but needs a bit of tweeking. Gate Jangler, way of telling us when someone comes into garden, made from trivet, copper piper and mini springs, all reused, a bit more paintwork required. Redesign of bathroom, before and after, reused flooring, secondhand bath and secondhand tiles off freecycle, only new stuff is plumbing pipes and shower unit.

Having just welcomed in the New Year, we wanted to share with you our perfect piece of Glastonbury from 2019. It's brilliant to look back and reflect on all of the thousands of people who came to visit Creative Recycling, and in this video you can see a handful of our lovely visitors at Green Futures Field Glastonbury Festival (official) in the sunshine! Here's to hoping we'll be doing it all over again in 2020!
