However our online exhibition is on until the 15th of July! we have a collection of skilled botanical artists on show showing a range of styles and techniques.

In recent years Angela’s focus has been on nature in particular plants & flowers. Nature represents for her, the design in life. She is intrigued by forms and the values held within. A flower shows everything from the seeds, stem, bud, and blossom, then returning to the earth to begin a new cycle of birth-life-death.

You can find details about Angela’s works on our online exhibition.

Next is
Georgie is a botanical painter exploring connections between people, plants and places.

Focusing on native plants growing locally and portraits of edible plants left to grow wild, she tries to capture meaning and spirit in the work through observing, listening and developing a reciprocal relationship with the plants in their environment.

See her other pieces on our website, including this piece Winds of Adonis which is in our gallery!

Lastly for today we have
Jackie Isard, from Bristol UK, is a Fellow member of the Society of Botanical Artists and an RHS Gold medal winner. She is a self-taught artist with a great passion for painting flowering plants, meadow wildflowers, pollinators and other natural history subjects. Her work is very detailed and botanically accurate. The majority of her work is watercolour on paper.

See her other pieces on our website, including this piece Purple Princess in our gallery.

We are open tomorrow 10-4pm and 10-3pm on Saturday!

Today we have the amazing work by botanicalart

Inessa loves learning about the plants she discovers traveling all over the world and sees her works as a way to bring a piece of the natural world into the man-made world and to encourage others to think about the environment and their impact on it.

You can find three impressive pieces of hers for sale at the gallery, as well as an additional two on our online showcase!

Caroline is a Gloucestershire artist who worked for many years as an archaeological illustrator; her work has appeared in academic publications as well as in heritage display. Alongside running her small gardening business, she now paints botanically accurate plant portraits from life.

As well as her originals we have greeting cards and limited edition prints of Caroline’s work also available.
You can also find these pieces on our online showcase.

With a background in textile design, Candida has always had an interest in drawing plants and a keen attention to detail. When her husband’s job took them to Bermuda in 2007 she began taking classes in botanical art.

Have you been by our website to see the amazing talent on display? Until the 15th of July we have a collection of skilled botanical artists on show showing a range of styles and techniques.

Today let me introduce a few of them!

First we have
Jacqueline is a freelance botanical illustrator and Graphic Designer, graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Her works appear in various publications in her country and in private collections as well. Jacqueline’s interest in plants and painting began as a child on a rural farm, and under tutorage of her grandfather, who educated her in watercolour techniques.

Prints of her work are available to purchase through our gallery in both A4 and A3.

Next is
She has an innate curiosity that informs her illustration, whether it be factual or imaginative work and, although she is trained in scientific botanical illustration, her preference is to create stylised artworks that are based on accuracy and authenticity.
Read more of her interesting bio on our website.

Prints of her submission are also available to order through our gallery, in A5, A4 and A3.

Lastly for today we have
Focusing on native plants growing locally and portraits of edible plants left to grow wild, she tries to capture meaning and spirit in the work through observing, listening and developing a reciprocal relationship with the plants in their environment.

Inspired by a botanist in America, she has joined a worldwide group who keep a perpetual journal of native plants. This documents the seasonal plants through the years and connects her to other people and their plants.

Plum Galleries exhibition Natures Palette runs until the 30th June, don’t miss out and visit today.

Art prints can be a fantastic way to add personality and style to your space. Here are a few ways you can use art prints to decorate:

Focal Point: Choose a bold and eye-catching art print to create a focal point in a room. Hang it on a prominent wall or above a mantel to draw attention and add visual interest.

Gallery Wall: Create a curated gallery wall by arranging a collection of art prints in different sizes and frames. Mix and match various styles and themes to create a personalised and dynamic display.

Colour Palette: Use art prints to introduce or enhance a specific colour palette in your space. Select prints that feature colours that complement your existing decor, or use them as inspiration to build a cohesive colour scheme.

Theme or Mood: Choose art prints that reflect a specific theme or mood you want to evoke in your space. For example, nature prints can bring a sense of tranquility, while abstract prints can add a touch of modernity and intrigue.

Remember, the possibilities are endless, and you can get creative with how you display and incorporate art prints into your decor.
