Tonight is a perfect vinyl cocktail of and - We are very fortunate here to have home of two of the most brilliant, joyous, gorgeous vinyl nights - and tonight they have married for merriment we are all enjoying. Cosmic and yonner - two folk of such honour and we do want to take the chance to honour Dolly. We all are of course, but we had her stand tall while short of stature to patron our ashton-under-lyne pride: we didn’t know then just a month back we might be bringing her cardboard cut out back down for more celebration and this time just for her. The nico ditch is made up of people of realness, poor, rich, tall, small, we all have big large hearts and put them into what happens here. A toast to Dolly, and a toast to and - who embody the real spirit of creative freedom and brilliance! We are a coat of many colours. Big love 💛💚💜🤍❤️🖤🩷💙🌈🙏🏽🫂

2-4-1 CASK today all day but come and get it before it’s gone! It’s the lovely very dark brown from WE ARE WOLF BREWING . This delicious full bodied (and satisfyingly strong at 5.4% ABV was made using an old recipe from Saddleworth Brewery who were previously based at their site. It’s only available for a limited time only so come and give it a sup 🍻

All our table flowers, fresh coffee, mint, fresh lemons and limes (all - but the flowers - made fresh for our fine cocktails), are from Ashton’s market stalls & kiosks, indoor and outdoor. All our cases are found historic bottles from Clayton Vale (a victorian landfill that now blossoms treasures whenever the rains are heavy). We get everything we need from the local stalls and stores. Because they are more beautiful and taste better (we don’t eat the flowers honest). Come and sample our freshly made juices and finest selected coffee in our many cocktails (thank you as always Market Grounds Coffee Bar ) 🙏🏽💛🫶🏼🍸

Whether the weather is sunny or dull, our cocktails brighten up the sunshine inside your soul (it is there we see it you glorious beast). We freshly squeeze limes and lemons , we make our gimme no and demera syrup - no pre/made anything here. Everything made and served with love! Coz what the world needs now - is love - sweeeeet love. And cocktails. They often lead to love - self-love, which is the most radical act of all (thank you belle hooks), and the love of our fellow (hu)man. Great turn out for the ASHTON PRIDE 2026 March.

We’re proud to be collaborating with tamesidequeermeet on this years event and it’s already turning out to be a great success.

There’s stalls in ashton centre, live music and soap box speeches happening throughout the afternoon plus here at The Nico Ditch we have a history talk, Karaoke by OXXY and an ace DJ set to close the evening.

We’re open now come down and get a drink 🍸 🍺 🍷

ASHTON PRIDE - tomorrow we will be a marchin’ - With pride. Bring your banners and fine selves and meet us at St Michael’s church from midday! everyone has come on board to support. We will march to The Nico Ditch and hear from tamesidequeermeet & others, we have much to say about inclusivity, solidarity, pride and community in our town. We have great things on, talks, performances, djs and music alongside LOCA we have much to be proud of. Banner or not, come along and be with us. Pride - a deeper love 🧡🖤🤍💚💙🩶🤎🩶🌈🩷❤️💜
