Museum dedicated to agricultural & rural history of Kent, housed in 14th century barn & 19th century oast house

Tucked away below the North Downs, in the small village of Brook between Ashford and Wye, the Brook Rural Museum houses an impressive collection of Kent related agricultural rural objects. The Wye Rural Museum Trust, which owns and runs the museum, welcomes you to explore the site and learn more about its history, buildings, and collections. Contact us at: [email protected]

🎶 Music in Celebration at St Mary’s 🎶

Visit St Mary’s Church, Brook, for a wonderful evening of choral and chamber music on Saturday 24th October at 7.30pm! ✨

Enjoy a varied programme spanning centuries of music, performed by The Brook Occasionals Alchemy Upper Voices, conducted by Francis Bushell and Rebecca Lodge Birkebeak.

🎟️ Tickets £15, including a drink and nibbles during the interval. All proceeds support St Mary’s Church, Brook.

Our very own hops have just been harvested here at Brook Rural Museum, with our incredible volunteers carefully preparing each bine by hand. Now they're ready to take centre stage at this Sunday's Harvest Festival!
