Did you know that Interactive talks are available for groups who find it hard to access the museum? We can bring the museum to you, with a selection of handling objects, pictures and fascinating facts, all delivered by our enthusiastic volunteers.
One of our regular visits is to Millway House Nursing Home, who kindly sent us this review:

'At Millway House, we feel incredibly fortunate to welcome visits from Andover Museum. For many of our residents, traveling to the museum or navigating its physical access can be a challenge. Having the museum come to us not only makes cultural enrichment more accessible but also brings history to life in a truly engaging way.
Each visit gives residents the unique opportunity to see fascinating artefacts up close. The museum staff enhance the experience with captivating storytelling and detailed explanations about where the items were found—many of which have local significance, making the sessions even more meaningful.
We typically enjoy three themed visits per year, covering topics such as Danebury Hillfort, The Romans, and The Victorians. The feedback from residents is always overwhelmingly positive, and the conversations sparked by the visits often continue long after the sessions end.
We would highly recommend a visit from Andover Museum to any care setting. You never know what you'll discover—it's a journey through time right from the comfort of home.'
