**Update on my Uncle** We spoke with the Doctor yesterday morning, she informed us that Chris needed another brain scan, this was done as urgent, the results weren’t good and we were told to expect the worse, Chris was then moved by ambulance yesterday to a specialist hospital in Elche, they operated last night at 6pm, 2.5 hr op where they drilled several holes in to the brain to release the pressure, I got to see him for 5 minute in intensive care, machinery and wires everywhere, the 24hrs after his op are very important for his recovery, they’ll scan him again today to see what the damage to his brain is but this could be life changing for Chris, we didn’t get home until very late so apologies for not posting an update sooner, thank you for your many messages of support for Chris, for my Mum and myself, we are going again at 1:30pm today but only allowed for an hour, Chris is expected to remain in ICU until he’s strong enough to be moved to a room, it is the view of the expert medics that within the last 2-3 weeks Chris has had a bad fall, how he drove to Leeds to the airport and then flew to Spain I really don’t know, but the doctors said be thankful he did and that we were able to act, if he’d been on his own he wouldn’t have survived the bleed, Chris isn’t religious but please say a prayer, have hope and keep your fingers crossed for him, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, we also can’t fault the treatment Chris has received at Torrevieja Hospital and Elche, the Doctors and nursing staff have been amazing, Phill & Mum xx ❤️
