We look back on a week filled with inspiring encounters, meaningful conversations and shared passion for design and craftsmanship. Being part of such an international and creative platform has been a true privilege.

We were delighted to present our universe, our values and our collections. We have loved to connect with designers, architects and visitors who share our vision. Each exchange reinforced our belief in the power of thoughtful design and authentic materials.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit our stand, as well as the Maison & Objet teams for creating a space where creativity and innovation can truly thrive. This fair may be ending, but the relationships and ideas born here will continue to shape Sordile’s journey.

The design of the female torso must be meticulously planned, paying close attention to anatomical details. The layers of MDF should be cut and stacked to accurately resemble the curves and contours of the human body. Each layer of MDF needs to be cut with precision to ensure a seamless fit when they are assembled. Achieving this level of accuracy requires precise measurements and the use of appropriate cutting tools.
The process of hand-gluing the layers together is delicate and critical to the final result. It’s essential to select the right type of adhesive and ensure that each layer is aligned correctly to maintain the overall shape of the torso.
Creating a sculpture like this is a labor-intensive endeavor that demands a keen eye for detail and a high level of craftsmanship. It’s crucial to have the necessary tools, skills, and patience to successfully bring your artistic vision to life.
This female torso is crafted from MDF, with all the layers meticulously hand-glued together and precisely cut. The piece is composed of seventy-two layers of three-millimeter-thick MDF.
