**Tuesday is usually our plein air painting day.** 🌿

This week, I used the opportunity to work on a small commission while painting outdoors with my collegue Dominique Gioan (who took the photo) .

Yesterday, the process continued in the studio. I produced three signed collector's prints on Hahnemühle fine art paper. Each print is carefully printed, numbered, signed and packaged by hand before it begins its journey to its new home.

I love that every artwork has its own story—from the first brushstroke in nature to the final signature in the studio.

We’d just been to visit my mum. I gave her this painting some time ago—a portrait of her as a child on a building site. It made me smile because almost nothing has changed. She’s still designing and creating things today. Looking back, I think that’s where my fascination with architecture began. And perhaps, in a way, where my journey as an artist began too.
