War for Peace / Romagne 14-18 Informal Museum on the day-to-day life of the soldiers in World War I

The countless artifacts in this permanent exhibition were found by owner Jean-Paul de Vries himself in the direct surroundings of his informal museum located in Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, France.

In the midst of everyting that is happening right now, my main goal is still to fight for peace✌️

In March 2025, a major new project by War of Peace/Romagne 14-18 was on the agenda: Flags for Peace. In other words, placing more than 15,000 flags in the La Robinette valley in Romagne. By placing these flags, the soldiers of the Great War became visible again for a moment. They were not forgotten. At the same time, these flags in the landscape were an impressive call for peace throughout the world. A call that is only becoming more urgent in these turbulent and uncertain times.
