[Seulgi Lee | Kunsthalle Marcel Duchamp], « Heumul Heumul » at in Cully, Switzerland, is on view until September 25.

Seulgi Lee presents « Heumul Heumul » (2026), an installation featuring a swirling glass sculpture containing water collected from Korea’s Nakdong River. Evoking Duchamp’s « Air de Paris » (1919), the work transforms a fragment of nature transported from one place to another into a poetic reflection on movement, memory, and cultural exchange.

The title combines mul, the Korean word for “water,” with the onomatopoeic expression “heumul heumul,” evoking water’s continuous flow. Through this central motif, Lee explores the connections between landscapes, cultures, traditions, and memories.

Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, this micro-museum, measuring only a few dozen centimeters in diameter, is known as the smallest museum in the world and was established to honor Marcel Duchamp’s artistic legacy.

[At the gallery — Claudio Coltorti]
Opening on Saturday, September 5, from 4pm to 9pm.

We are thrilled to announce Claudio Coltorti’s first solo show at Jousse Entreprise. Untitled ‘Long time no see’, the exhibition features a new series of oils and pigments on wood and canvases by the artist.

Born in Naples, Italy in 1989, Claudio Coltorti ()’s painting envisages the infinite possibilities where reality and vision expands, suspended between the figurative and the abstract; the disproportionate forms of his figures may describe the forces of the relational, or perhaps it would be more correct to say, the manifest of the intimate.

[On view — Nathanaelle Herbelin] ‘Bonnes mères’, until August 31, 2026 at

Discover four works by Nathanaëlle Herbelin exhibited in ´Bonnes mères’ at Mucem. The exhibition highlights Mediterranean motherhood as a socially constructed concept, a political issue, and an artistic subject. The exhibition unfolds as an immersive and diachronic journey tracing its history from Antiquity to the present day, in a constant dialogue between eras and artworks. From ancient mother goddesses to the “Bonne Mère” of Marseille, from patriotic mothers to contemporary women artists, it questions representations of motherhood—often laden with expectations—and reveals the plurality of maternal experiences.

Bodies fragment, overlap, dissolve into hybrid forms where intimacy, fantasy, and memory become inseparable. Painting extends beyond the canvas, unfolding across cut surfaces, sculptural elements, and architectural space. Between figuration and projection, Madeleine Roger-Lacan’s work constructs a visual language in which desire is never fixed, but continuously reshaped through gesture and material.

In Madeleine Roger-Lacan’s () practice, painting is approached as a site of transformation. Cutting, assembling, layering, and inscribing words into the pictorial surface, she unsettles the conventions of the medium to reveal the tensions that underlie representation itself. Figurative motifs become vehicles for exploring the shifting boundaries between consciousness and imagination, where the body appears as both presence and absence, subject and projection.

Drawing equally from popular culture, psychoanalytic references, and personal mythology, her works do not seek to illustrate narrative. Instead, they evoke psychological states and embodied sensations, navigating the ambiguities of female desire, fantasy, and vulnerability. Through this interplay of painting, sculpture, and installation, Roger-Lacan opens a space where the sensual and the symbolic coexist, inviting viewers into an experience that is at once intimate and disquieting.

Madeleine Roger-Lacan (b. 1993, France) graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2018, following a formative period at the Slade School of Fine Art in London in 2016. She lives in Pantin and works in Aubervilliers, France. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Fondation Ricard, the Malmaison Art Center in Cannes, and the Musée Matisse in Nice. In 2025, she was awarded the Pierre Cardin Prize for Painting. She is represented by Eigen+Art (Berlin) and has presented solo exhibitions with Frank Elbaz (Paris), Jousse Entreprise (Paris), and Eigen+Art.

[Ange Leccia – Normandie Impressionniste 2026] ‘Aller et venir de lumière’ Ange Leccia on view until September 29, 2026 at Abbaye Saint-Georges de Boscherville. Normandie Impressionniste

As part of the 6th edition of Normandie Impressionniste, and on the occasion of the centenary of Claude Monet’s death, Ange Leccia presents a major solo exhibition curated by Sandra Prédine-Ballerie across the Abbaye Saint-Georges de Boscherville and its gardens.

Ange Leccia’s work explores memory, landscape, and emotions through simple yet evocative images. In the gardens of Saint-Georges de Boscherville Abbey, he unfolds a constellation of images centered on the garden as a living force. In the chapter house, a revisited version of the video installation (D’)Après Monet is presented, echoing the world of Claude Monet. At the Pavilion of Winds, screens compose a series of motifs filmed over the years, capturing the energy of life. On the forecourt, a monumental ikebana combines plants and colors in an immersive composition. The whole offers a contemplative experience where the viewer is invited to perceive the variations of nature rather than analyze forms.

Colors blend into one another, forms recede, giving way to an unstable image suspended in a fragile balance between appearance and disappearance. Here, painting opens up a space of projection, situated at the intersection of the symbolic, the intimate, and a restrained form of spirituality.
In Maria Adjovi’s () work, painting unfolds through successive acts of return. Covering, erasing, allowing things to resurface. Her deliberately reduced palette imposes a discipline that shifts attention toward the temporality of the gesture, toward what settles gradually rather than what asserts itself immediately.
Hovering at the edge of autobiography, her practice does not operate through narrative. Instead, it proceeds through fragments: collected images that are recomposed, displaced, and held at a distance. What emerges belongs less to the realm of subject matter than to that of emotional states.

Maria Adjovi (b.1996; Porto-Novo, Benin) lives in Bondy, France and works in Paris, studies at the Beaux Arts de Paris and will graduate in September 2026.

Masha Silchenko (Masha) studied at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg and graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2021. She previously attended the Odessa College of Art (Ukraine) and Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai), where she learned traditional ceramic techniques. Her practice brings together drawing, sculpture, painting, and canvas-based works. Myths, beliefs, dreams, and nightmares are reappropriated through a sensitive, narrative approach. References to life, nature, and the vegetal world interact and transform through spontaneous scribbles and marks inscribed into
the material itself.
Masha Silchenko has been an artist-in-residence at the Cité internationale des Arts in Paris and has also participated in residency programs

Focus Miranda Webster & Elené Shatberashvili

Miranda Webster works from observation, a process of concentrated looking and the slow accumulation of detail, creating paintings that capture the physicality
of subjects, and the layered time of making. This intense attention is focused on the world of the studio, in which sculptural objects and installations are created
as a means of exploring ideas around human and non-human corporality, care and its limitations, and the complex relationship between person and thing.
Recent exhibitions include Quatre, La Verrière, Brussels, BE (2026), the John Moores Painting Prize, Walker Gallery, Liverpool, UK (2025) and Le Jour des

The two artists took part in the Therapeia Art Residency in Paxos in June 2026, where they spent several weeks developing their respective practices in dialogue with the island’s landscape and greeted by

Joins us for the opening of the group show kith and kin on Saturday July 4, 2026 from 4pm.
Echoing the exhibition Affinité(s) curated by Sophie Vigourous and presented at the gallery in 2018, this new exhibition brings together gallery artists and guest artists around narratives of genealogy and affiliation, relationships, care and friendships, alliances and allies. The exhibition’s title, from the Old English kith and kin, refers to a person’s extended family and all those who are dear to them.

« The final gallery space is occupied by suspended forms: tubes combining blown glass and perforated metal, evoking systems of ventilation or cooling. Balanced by metal counterweights reminiscent of Duchamp’s “malic moulds” - forms which “mould gas” in The Large Glass -, the installation evokes the fiction of a pneumatic laboratory, structured as much by void and circulation as by insulation and circulation. Rather than alluding to the factory of the future, Caubet’s work engages with the social fabric of the present - one in which the very freedom to breathe may be called into question in the name of maintaining order. »
