Part of the Queering Modernism section, our booth at Frieze Masters 2026 (E12), on view from 14 to 18 October in London, explores the theme of identity through a transgenerational dialogue between two artists: Claude Cahun (1894–1954) and Judy Chicago (b. 1939).

The booth features photographs and books by French Surrealist artist Claude Cahun, in dialogue with drawings, sculptures, prints and photographs by American feminist artist Judy Chicago.

In the context of the exhibition 'Asile_Exodus & Fuga' at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris, featuring Portuguese-Luxembourgish artist Marco Godinho, an eau-de-vie tasting with the artist will take place around his installation 'Oblivion (Water)' on Thursday 8 October at 7 pm.
The group show will be on view until 10 October.

'Oblivion (Water)' is an evolving work that unfolds over the entire duration of the exhibition. This is the ideal length of time for Luxembourgish and Portuguese eaux-de-vie to macerate with Korean jujube and be transformed into a placebo. Between the opening ritual (the day the maceration begins) and the closing ritual (the day of the tasting), the exhibition space becomes the site of a process in which the work is constructed, takes shape, and transforms.

On view until 22 November at our Venice gallery: 'The Materiality of Judy Chicago', a solo show curated by Allison Raddock about Chicago's six-decade career, characterized by a continuous experimentation with materials: from ceramics to glass, from drawings to aluminum, from video to photograph.

This exhibition seeks to further introduce and contextualize Chicago’s work for a broader European audience, expanding the dialogue around her enduring impact. Chicago has challenged artistic hierarchies, embracing techniques historically dismissed as 'craft' and transforming them into powerful vehicles for feminist and conceptual inquiry.

Save the date for the upcoming edition of Frieze & Frieze Masters, taking place from 14 to 18 October 2026 at Regent’s Park in London, UK. The gallery will be part of the Queering Modernism sector at Frieze Masters, curated by Anke Kempkes, presenting a two-artist booth featuring works by Surrealist French artist Claude Cahun and feminist American artist Judy Chicago.

Centered on the themes of gender and identity, the booth brings together original photographs and books by Claude Cahun alongside a selection of works across different media by Judy Chicago. Both artists sought to dismantle systems of categorization imposed by society while asserting alternative ways of being.

'Mes Verdures', a solo exhibition by French artist Marie Denis, will be on view until 1 November at the Auberge des Dauphins. Located in the heart of the Forêt de Saoû, this exhibition emerges from an intimate dialogue between the forest, architecture, and the artist.

The works in 'Mes Verdures' stem from a process of collecting, observing, and transforming the living world. The artist invites us to look differently: to follow traces, imprints, and metamorphoses, until the artwork and the forest become one.
Experimental films by Vladimir Vatsev accompany the exhibition, extending this exploration of nature.

Our Venice gallery is pleased to welcome you on 18 September at 6pm for the talk entitled: Judy Chicago’s ‘The Dinner Party’: The Making Of. It will unfold as a conversation between Diane Gelon, who worked on 'The Dinner Party' and helped to organize its worldwide, grass roots tour, and Francesco Spampinato, Director of the Second Cycle Degree in Visual Arts at Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna.
_
Set in the context of the current Venice exhibition 'The Materiality of Judy Chicago', the talk will focus on the making of 'The Dinner Party', Judy Chicago’s most famous work. The conversation will look at the collective and non-hierarchical approach to production that characterised it, tracing its exhibition history and circulation from the 1970s through the 1990s, until its final acquisition by the Elizabeth A. Sackler, who donated it to the Brooklyn Museum in 2002.

The talk will be held in English.

‘TECHnotOXIC’, the new project by Italian artist Christian Fogarolli, will be on view until 31 December 2026 at Futurium - The House of Futures in Berlin, as part of the exhibition 'On/Off Relationship: How we will share our lives with technology'.

Supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture, with Vita - Salute San Raffaele University being the lead institution , the project investigates the complex relationship between human body and digital technologies, exploring growing forms of suffering caused by digital systems such as cyberbullying, social isolation, social network addiction and the compulsive use of devices.
