The CAP Gallery is a non-profit organisation’s Contemporary Art Projects online body, and the platform for my curatorial work – exhibitions, art fairs, discussions and talks. The Gallery does not have a permanent exhibition space, instead it showcases artworks across a variety of venues. The Gallery is focused on working with specific individual artists and seeks to find alternative exhibition for

mats that would facilitate new ways to perceive art. The Gallery represents artists from the Nordic and Baltic regions and focuses on modern and contemporary art, with a particular interest in the works of the young generation of up-and-coming artists. Launched as a platform for mobile exhibitions and short-term artistic events, the gallery has retained its mobility and non-institutional nature throughout the years. Every year from two to five exhibitions and art events are organized on behalf of The CAP Gallery. In 2015 the CAP Gallery organised a talk by Barry Schwabsky – art critic for The Nation and co-editor of international reviews for Artforum, who also writes for such publications as the London Review of Books, New Left Review, The Brooklyn Rail, and hyperallergic.com (Morandi’s Window: The Place of the Contemporary Artist, The National Gallery, Lithuania); one year later CAP also organized a talk with Kate Sutton – art critic and a regular contributor to artforum.com (Resurrection Day: Contemporary Art and its Future Visions, Rupert Art center, Lithuania).
